I've had a heart murmur since birth, but my doctor noticed during routine check-up in mid 40's. I was sent to a cardiologist and several test later was diagnosed with sever mitral regurgitation. The diagnosis made sense when I look back at the fatigue and the rapid prolong heart-racing. I scheduled the surgery this July and had successful minimally invasive mitral valve repair. Now the recovery begins.
