Susan's Profile

I am having surgery in a few weeks to repair mitral valve, regurgitation issue. I am super nervous about this, as I have had no symptoms, and I'm very active and athletic, and I am very scared about the outcome and the procedure itself. If anyone has, any words of wisdom or any encouraging thoughts, I'd welcome them. My family and friends are amazing and supportive, however, that has not helped to diminish my anxiety and fears.
