San's Profile

I am going to have my aortic bicuspid valve replaced with a biological valve and my aortic anneurysm replaced and my root of aorta repaired too. Although my aneurysm is only 4.3 com because my height is only 5 ft and I am thin and tiny, my surgeon decided to replaced it. I have short of breath and a little tightness of chest , and low platelets.My hospital is number one in CA and my surgeon is one of the best but still I am so afraid as Surgery is nearing. I first read Adam's book and was encouraged and decided to join the group and see updates and experiences of fellow patients.
