I had successful robotic valve surgery back in October 2020. I had few if any symptoms but doctors felt the severity of the regurge was on the rise so I went ahead w the robotic MV repair. In the hospital for 4 days and had a good recovery. My nurses that came to the house 3 days a week were great as well. My surgeon was very confident, my nurses at the hospital at Penn were all outstanding. I think I am progressing quite well but I do have some residual tenderness in my chest and once in a blue moon I can feel some very slight pain in the middle of my chest. I think I am quite Ok but will have another follow up soon.
