I think it's quite common. Your body has been through a lot so listen to it, and be kind to it. I've always called it a journey. You will continue to feel better each and every day.
Not six months, just creeping up on three here. But yes, I have right side tenderness. When I asked about it nobody seemed concerned at all. Same sensations you describe, not painful but I'm aware that it's there.
Ray - You may have required some rib spreading for your procedure. That can certainly create some tenderness. If it doesn't seem to be improving, you may want to get an x-ray to be sure you don't have a small fracture. Please keep us posted. Best of luck to you!
I have not had my surgery yet (2 weeks to go), but my physician mentioned that with robotic surgery, it is possible to have rib pain for several months after surgery (sometimes a little tender up to a year). I hope yours are feeling better soon.
