Born with leaking Aortic Valve, which was not discovered until I was 36 yrs of age. Replaced at the age of 65. Major operation with the top of main artery replaced with synthetic tube as well. Heart could not cope after the operation, so four days later I had to go back onto the table to have a pacemaker inserted.
