About Me

My wife and I traveled out to Cleveland a couple of days before my Bio-Bentall procedure on September 11. Good news from the Cath Lab the day before -- no blockages & no need for CABG. Dr. Vargo and his team were great as were the Anesthesia and Perfusion teams. I had a brief, uneventful stay in Intensive Care with the attentive, informative and very helpful Nursing staff. Then, off to the Step-down Unit to continue my recovery. Great care team there too. I was discharged on September 15 and headed home to Syracuse, NY. Feeling better and stronger every day. Starting cardiac rehab later this month. Thanks to everyone for your support and well-wishes!
