About Me

I am 72 years old. I was born with pulmonary stenosis in 1951. In 1960, at the age of 9 I had corrective surgery. Afterward, I had no cardiac issues. But in 2019, just before the Covid shutdown, I was diagnosed with afib and had an ablation. Since then I've been diagnosed with heart failure, pulmonary and tricuspid regurgitation. My local cardiologist wanted a second opinion so he sent me to Mayo Clinic, MN. I'm scheduled for 1/10/24 at Mayo. Wonderful team of cardiologists and surgeons! I feel like I have a "dream team" taking care of me. I'll be there for 2 wks then return home to PA for recovery and rehab.
