About Me (In My Own Words)
Hi, i am a 52 year old male, I love swimming, cycling and running with my wife, from a year and a half ago I began to slow down my training, feeling a bit more tired than usual. I thought was aging and eating too much carbs and sugar beverages. In a regular medical test with my wife's gastroenterologist, he heard a murmur and sent me to a cardiologist to perform on me a 2D Eco cardiogram, which reveal I have a Mitral Valve Severe Regurgitation, due to a broken tendinous chord. Today April 9th, I am in the phase of taking the choice of replacing the mitral valve or if the case is 95% of good results repairing the valve. I am really scared of everything from the first test which was a 3D Transesophageal Eco cardiogram, and the next ones (Holter test and a catheterism) that I believe I´ll be taking them the second and third week of april.
