Hi:
I am a 49 year old woman that was born with a bicuspid aortic valve. The regurgitation became severe a few months ago; I also had a ascending aortic aneursym. On August 19, 2010 I had my valve repaired and a graft that replaced my aorta. I feel pretty good. It has been two weeks now. The most pain that I have had since the surgery is in my upper back, shoulders and shoulder blades!
