Fitness has been my life since 10 years old. Boxing, football the list goes on.. so naturally wanted a career where fitness was praised so i went for the Army where unknowingly my life would change but not for the reasons i was expecting. Got diagnosed with bicuspid aortic valve with regurgitation back in 2016 after failing selection medically for the Army. Ive had yearly check ups ever since. Managed to keep myself fit having been lucky enough to be asymptomatic running a marathon ect. Got the news August 2025 that I would need surgery sooner rather than later as my regurgitation got worse and have some slight swelling. At 30 years old this was a shock to me and a hard pill to swallow but im very fortunate because if I never went for the Army this wouldn't of been found as soon as it did.
