I was diagnosed with Bicuspid Aortic Valve in early 2018 at the age of 38. A year later, it was found that my stenosis and regurgitation had worsened. After much research, I self referred myself to Dr. Vaughn Starnes at USC Keck Medical Center. He recommended I undergo a Ross procedure. It was successfully completed on 5/24/19. I can't give enough praise to Dr. Starnes and his team. They have been outstanding throughout the entire process. My treatment at USC Keck was second to none. I'm still in the recovery phase, but so far so good!
