I'm 52, and was diagnosed with BAVD back in 2007. Been seeing a local cardiologist every year, but back in 2018, I stopped for a few years. Fast forward to January, my Dr recommended I get back in there.
My Dr, after some new tests, standard echo and TEE, said my valve is leaking too much and it's time to get in and fix before any further damage is done to my right ventricle.
I'm meeting with a cardiologist at the Cleveland Clinic on May 5th for a 2nd opinion and hoping to get in and get it replaced this year
