I have severe aortic regurgitation for a year now,still in watch mode since, apart from a squeeky chest am symptom free... I need surgery at some point but not yet... But I am trying to decide if I want to go biological or mechanical. More surgery in 15 years or so or lifetime of blood thinner????? I really do not want to be on thinners, no one can tell me how critical a missed dose or maybe a spinach salad might be (it varies per person is their answer) I would love to hear from people that have already had one or the other to get ideas...
