I am 64 years old, thin, and except for heart valve problems, in relatively good shape. I was told I had mitral valve prolapse in my teens. It was never an issue and I never saw a cardiologist. A few years ago, I had an incident which sent me to a cardiologist. In addition to my MVP, I was told I had PVCs. But, still nothing to be concerned about. Within the past few years, I've started feeling fatigued and short of breath with some exertion.
