Cardiologists have been monitoring the heart murmur for about 7 years and now say that the Mitral Valve needs help. Dr Brevig is very hopeful that the valves can be repaired instead of replaced. These months of waiting have been hard and I'm glad the time is almost here.
Now that there is less than 24 hours, we hear that the first confirmed case of Wuhan coronavirus in the US is right here at the Providence Regional Medical Center - Everett WA, the hospital where my surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning.
