I've known about my bad mitral valve since my early 20's and I'm now 65. The regurgitation is now in the severe range so it's time to take action. I am passionate about enjoying the outdoors and love to hike. My stamina no longer allows me to go more than a couple miles, but I'm planning a Spring trip to the the mountains of Tennessee - my recovery "carrot"!
