Diagnosed a few weeks ago. I went for a full checkup and when doctor noticed heart murmur and echocardiogram results, he recommended I go to my cardiologist. Cardiologist ordered TEE and Cat Scan and found I had bicuspid valve and aortic stenosis. After considering Ross procedure (and my sister had one this past summer) I decided to get another opinion. Confirmed by Dr. Ismael el-Hamamsy, I am scheduled for a Ross procedure on December 1 with Dr. Timothy Carter.
Surgery was postponed to 12/3 due to an emergency patient.
