Out with the old. This time bomb is gone from my body. Don't think about the pain of recovery, just focus on the positive outcome!
ascending aortic aneurysm Thin part is normal Fat part at the end is the ticking time bomb
It now all looks thin No more fat part. Where it stops is root and valve Can't see in the MRI It's a MRI of my artery pre op.
Wow that is a powerdul illustration. Thanks for sharing!
Cool MRI image. Had the same open heart Surgery 9 weeks ago. but I got a Aortic valve installed.
Its been now 11 weeks or so and I am still a little sore. Dull aches and pains. I do cardio rehab 3 times a week and that makes a big difference.

I'm so happy it's over and I'm on the other side. My doc saved my valve, he was able to repair it. I feel very good today!
Two Thumbs up!!!!!!!!!! Welcome to the recovery side. It's a bumpy road but it goes pretty fast and gently smooths out. You got a room with a view.
It's is hard work but it feels great being on the other side and getting my life expectancy back.
The view is nice Newport Beach , ca The hospital rooms have ocean views lol Go figure
Great pic! Enjoy those ocean views. I love Newport Beach.
Welcome to the other side! Giving you a chest butt lol
