Thanks Marie! I decided on the tissue valve and they used the Edwards Magna Ease aortic valve.

That's the valve that I'm thinking of getting in two weeks. How are you doing and liking the valve by now? Your scar looks good what are you using may I ask?

Hi Carolyn - The stuff on the incision is what they put on after surgery. I'm guessing it was some kind of protective adhesive? The nurses cautioned me not to pick at it. The other advice I found helpful was ordering some sports bras that hook in the front. I... Read more.

Great advice Lisa! I'll order some before the big day so I have them when I get home. Anything else you can think of for the hospital or when I get home?
