Achievement unlocked. 16.0 a month after surgery, now 26.1. Finally out of the "low" range.

I was told that my MV needs to be replaced because I have moderate calcification on the MV annulus, that is why I was asking.

Incredible video!!! The clarity of the camera and the robotic suturing is mind-boggling! How many hours did your surgery last?

I think it was over two hours, around 2.5+ if I recall correctly. Because both leaflets needed attention it took a little longer than a typical robotic repair but not too much longer.

Joseph - That was fast! That's about the same amount of time as other more invasive mv repair procedures. Back in 2017, I was told full robotic could be almost twice as long as minimally invasive entry or mini-sternotomy. I didn't want that much time on bypass, so I eliminated... Read more.

I can't view the video. Something about age appropriate. Was that your procedure? I tried to get my MV repair video from Mayo but only got some pictures.

Scott, you can open the link on YouTube, but you might have to verify your age first (just a click). This is a mitral valve repair.
