Hi Theresa. Along with replacement of my aortic valve & some work that was done to my aorta, I also had mitral valve repair on May 3rd. For the repair, my surgeon did an annuloplasty which means he sewed a band to the existing ring of the valve. It's 12 weeks out now & I'm feeling almost back to normal. Sending positive thoughts your way!

Hi Theresa, we have a lot in common. I am hopefully having Mitral Valve Repair surgery with a Cryo Maze Procedure August 6th. I go in on the 5th for cardiac catheterization and then am fully admitted until surgery at 7:30 the next morning. Have you been having any symptoms?
