Hi Peyton, I arrive at Mount Sinai on September 9th and my surgery date is September 12th with Dr Adam’s and Dr. Eshmawi. They will be replacing my aortic and mitral valves and inserting a ring in the tricuspid. I will be happy to share my journey.

Peyton Davies My cardiologist is Dr.Surfas - which I love him vey much he’s really done me good. I needed a doctor like him to really take charge because my cardiologist in town was not on top of it. I decided to go with a surgeon who specializes in the procedure I’m having done. The surgeon I was recommended in KC hasn’t done many Ross procedures and I just wasn’t confident enough with him.

Grace Mason Wishing you both well on your upcoming surgeries. I am 11 months out with Dr El-Hamamsy and now, mostly forget I even had heart surgery. I had a Ross and aneurysm repair with Dacron.

Shaun Morris Sorry I am happily home now and am just seeing this. I stayed at the Upper East Side Marriott the night before and my family stayed there for 4 nights (I am lucky and only live about an hour and a half away). My family went home for the last two nights and then came back the morning I was getting discharged.

I am early into the process, but I too am having a Ross procedure done and have found Dr. Paul Stelzer out at Mt. Sinai in NYC to be incredible... I did my research and he has perhaps done more Ross procedures than anyone in the country if not the world. Just thought I would send along as you asked for a surgeon.
