happy for you ! Just found this site, I had a Mitra-Clip a month ago, pretty easy procedure but

I am waiting for a cervical spine surgery June30. I can’t walk because my f needing 2 surgeries at the same time. So reading aboutyour success gives me hope !

I am 78, and have 1 great grandson! 2 beautiful kids and a tremendous husband.
Again, Good work ! and you give me hope !

Like you, I have struggled with AFIB and heart failure.
You have found an incredible community of supportive doctors, nurses, and friends on this website that will help you find your way back to doing what you love to do.
When your recovery is well underway, go get yourself a pizza from Palermo’s on 95th Street on the south side for me and celebrate..

I’m 10 weeks post MV repair at the Cleveland Clinic and doing great. Knowing you are in great hands will allow you to focus on the recovery. Get walking and force yourself to stand up straight asap. All the best!

Dear Peggy, prayers up for you and the surgery. I have had a mild Mitral valve for several years. It just showed up as moderate. I m 75. Last year i went in to CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE AND PULMONARY HYPERTENTION AFTER FLUID OVERLOAD. I M not sure how a person feels with a lmild to moderate eaky heart valve. Do you mind filling me in? Very disalusioned in Texas.

You are brave, and strong. I can tell. You will get through this, and be much, much better on the other side. I had OHS on July 8, replacing aortic valve and reconstruction of aorta. (Existing aneurysm). I’m 69. Been watching aneurysm and monitoring bicuspid aortic valve for 11 years. Started feeling lousy last summer. Did surgery, and 8 months later, I feel better than I’ve ever felt. I mean since I’ve been in my semi senior years. Ha
