I was scared also but the morning of the surgery I went into the I think it's called Pre-Op or something like that and they connected me up and gave me a couple of pills, next thing I remember was waking up in my room. I asked when are they... Read more.

So glad all is well with you and the pacemaker! You make the surgery sound like a piece of cake, and I hope that I don't experience much post-op pain either. Thanks for sharing!

Yes very scary but I had that many times in the past, this being the first time I actually saw what was happening, but as you know I always came back, some times I would pass out completely and once for more than 15 minutes. That is why they said... Read more.

Before the operation I would take a even short walk over to the mail box and would be in quite a bit of pain because my heart would not keep up with my body's needs. My aortic valve would not close completely or open far enough to let much blood... Read more.
