Same for me, Lori. I was a CRNA for 44 years, and I never, ever thought I would have heart surgery..But all’s well that ends well, and here I am 9 years later.

Thank you Marie! I was stunned as well when I found out I needed heart surgery! What a shock! I know that I will be in experienced and capable hands at Stanford Hospital, but my mind still goes crazy.

Hi Lori, I am also having surgery Oct 1 2026. at Cedar Sinai. I am very scared but have to hold on to the thoughts of how much better we will be after the surgery. We have to have faith in our surgery team that they will see us through.
