Hi Lori, Yes, minimally invasive mitral valve repair. I too am very anxious. Just want to get it done and behind me! You will be 3 days after me! Glad to have the connection as well! Hang in there!

Hi Lori, They are checking to make sure your coronary arteries are clear, and can handle the catheter they use for the bypass machine.

Same for me, Lori. I was a CRNA for 44 years, and I never, ever thought I would have heart surgery..But all’s well that ends well, and here I am 9 years later.

Thank you Marie! I was stunned as well when I found out I needed heart surgery! What a shock! I know that I will be in experienced and capable hands at Stanford Hospital, but my mind still goes crazy.
