im M66 and “active” likely to go with tissue SVAR knowing there’ll be a TVAR in 10-15 years.

Hi Lisa, I saw your recent post about sternum pain. I, too, had aortic stenosis, bicuspid aortic valve replacement and aortoplasty. I had pain from day one that continued for months. If this is something new and an exam shows everything is fine, I highly recommend acupuncture. After just a few visits, I no longer had pain which I found amazing. I hope you feel better soon and that you keep us posted on your progress.

Lisa Coombe I’m 15 weeks post op and I’m down in Albany, my surgery went well with no complications and have done so well since getting out of hospital and back home, I was lucky to have such a loving boyfriend that has been through ohs by my side and happily answered my questions so I’m greatful for him and he found it different seeing it from a different view instead of th patient view
