Ok, it is Monday and you are in my thoughts constantly. I remember the day before and surprisingly, I was calm and peaceful about the whole process. I hope you are finding that same feeling today. If there is someway that your daughter or husband could post for you tomorrow - letting us know you are ok/out of surgery and in recovery tomorrow, that would be wonderful! Stay positive and know all good comes from this!!!

Linda- Here's praying that all goes according to plan and you are there to welcome the new baby into the world with your family. What a great pre-entry into the surgery and something wonderful for future plans! Take care and believe all will be well.

Linda, how are you doing my heart friend? I know that the days are rolling along and I have been focused on my own recovery. I wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts as July gets here and I know you will do well with the robotic procedure. As I said, our friend sells the contracts on those and helps train the doctors - he speaks highly of the robotic route. Actually, he wanted to arrange for me to go to NYC to have my procedure done there too! You will ROCK this! And you will be GREAT! You are in my prayers and soon it will be over! Please let me know what I can do from here!

sounds like you are well prepared for your upcoming procedure! I didn't have the Devinci robotic procedure but did have a mitral valve replacement the minimally invasive approach from the right side of my right breast. Had it on Wednesday and was home Monday morning. Would have been Sunday but developed a wee bit of easily treated A-Fib post op, so had to be monitored an extra day once they started the medication. Don't hesitate to ask me or anyone on here any questions that might be lingering, this is a great site with lots of information and people who can answer or talk about their experience. It can be a bit overwhelming, but overall it has been a great place for pre op and post op information. I am 10 months out from my procedure and doing well, and happy to have it behind me! ;-) Take good care of you, be patient with yourself and celebrate every wee progress you make- the little progresses come around quicker than the bit ones, so to keep yourself encouraged, celebrate the little things you find you can do !
