Bill Bard I am doing fine, after 6 weeks of strong antibiotics to get rid of an infection around one of my 5 laproscopic incisions! It is indeed a relief to know that my two ticking time bombs of gallbladder and incarcerating hernia have been defused! Thanks for asking. Sounds like all is going well for you. Terrie Syvertsen Mr. Bard! So good to read that you are mending, mending, mending! Great attitude for someone they have hopefully run our of things to fix.
Wish you lived close to me as I would have you out in my garden with Hunter and Kat with a tall cup of something while I trim roses singing show tunes or enjoying Barbara Streisand spewing out from the patio doors!. Very impressed still with the weight loss too! You take care and drop a line again one of these days! Hope you are enjoying Autumn!

Hi Bill, Good luck to you this Friday. And congratulations on the one year anniversary and the weight loss. I have not had surgery yet, I am still in the monitoring stage so I don't know how soon or how far out my surgery will be. But since I have some pounds to lose, I figure my recovery (whenever it will be) will go better if I lose the weight beforehand. So your story has really inspired me. Since I have other health issues besides the Aortic Stenosis, the weight loss would increase my chances of a successful outcome on many counts. Thank you for sharing your weight loss. As I said, you did inspire me to move forward with my own. Best of luck to you on Friday. I hope everything will be able to be done laparoscopically.

Hello Bill. I did something off the wall and phoned a number in Portland that might be yours. Reason: I am headed for surgery on Wed. the 20th.(Santa Clara Kaiser, Santa Clara, Ca. and thought back to my journal of Aug. 9th. where you had left me a really nice message. I gave a response back to you hoping to hear more from you and James and wanting to see how you were doing. Since I am going in soon I thought I would try and contact you on a lark to see if you would sing me a show tune or we could do a duet as I am almost giddy from the mixed excitement of getting this "show" on the road and a bit nervous period! Hi you two- great news and bravissimo on the weight loss it does make one feel so much better. You are lucky to be in Portaland- our hood is turning into a hood. We were robbed over the weekend- they came in twice- WHILE WE WERE IN THE HOUSE.Took only old Apple and old Ipad- not worth anything. Meantime one pane of glass 8x10 cost us $187. to replace.Cops say rash of similar breakins. Hey we love and miss you both.
