Hi Adela. I, too had a bicuspid AV and developed an ascending aortic aneurysm. I had my surgery 3 months ago and am doing very well. I see you are from Poland. My father and all my grandparents were from Gorlice. Where are you in Poland? I am sorry you... Read more.

I have had my heart issue since I was an infant. I am now 62. It can take a long time before you move to the severe stage. Sorry you are dealing with this at 19. If I can help by sharing my experiences. Let me know. By the way... Read more.

None of my children have heart issues, thank goodness! They are all heart healthy. None of mygrandchildren either.
