My cardilogist had been watching the heart valve and then I flucked a stress test as my blood pressure when down during exercise. Two echo's later I was at a servere reading and I had the surgery done two weeks later. When they went in the valve was 50% plus closed. I had a tissure valve at age 65; was in good shape, no smoking, little symptons.
