i found out that my daughter has a bicuspid aortic valve on may 21st 2012.she has moderate aortic insufficient regurgitation.she takes enalapril twice a day to lower her heart rate.in about 7 yrs she will get her valve replaced unless she needs it sooner.she will be 7 on september 8th.thank u 4 your prayers :)i just wanted 2 add 1 more thing.there is a group called(healthe kids)who do evaluations at school.had it not been for the RN who confirmed a murmur .......i may have not known 4 a long time.my nephew zach also has a bicuspid valve but he had surgery for other heart problems by the age of 9.i never knew 2 look 4 signs of heart disease until i found out about the murmur.the only 2 things i noticed are ....her heart beating fast and she's only 2 more pounds than her 4 yr old sister.
