I want to go back to work to get my bills under control.Had double bypass and started walking second week.Pain and soreness in upper chest muscles,mostly on right side.Had pain meds ,but threw them away so I can tell what my body is doing.Work in logistics where a lot of constant lifting is required.Im shooting for 6 week return to work? I know that I have some muscle separation on right side and trying to get that under control.

my dad had a quadruple heart bypass surgery last Oct 2009.. we argued about what car can he possibly use now after he was bypass? he is using an automatic transmission vehicle before but due to shortage of money we decided to sell his car… now he wants to buy a new car again but this time, a manual transmission vehicle… i told him that it might be hard for him now to use a manual vehicle after he was bypass…please before my dad buy a car.. thanks!

My mother who had a bypass and valve repair (she’s 76) She never smoked and was otherwise healthy has been on the breathing tube for 6 days now – she has a slight temperature and had had some renal failure – they say she is turning around and getting better VERY slowly….Am I loosing her?? I feel they dont have answers for me….(daughter)

My aunt is about to have double by pass and her health isn’t that good to begin with. I am afraid she may not make it however I am trying to remain strong for the family. Any ideas or suggestions?

I was on the ventalator for 2 days after surgery as well, there were two reasons for this, 1= my size, I am a large man, 2= I smoked a long time prior to having my bypass done. They want to be absolutely sure you can breath on your own before they remove thhat tube

My mom is having bypass surgery in a couple of week and I don’t live near her. How long after the hospital stay can she be left alone during the day to take care of herself or should I put her into a rehab facility?
