I’m about 10 weeks post op now, recovering well and diligently continuing with my spirometry breathing exercise 10x every hour as there’s still a bit of pleural effusion when I last went for my chest x-ray. Oh, and I’ve just booked my vaccine dates by the way.
Will be back to work next Monday and have an upcoming dental appointment on Wednesday to fix my overerupted upper second molar. Honestly, nothing scares me more than a dental procedure, not even when my cardiothoracic surgeon told me that I require heart valve surgery. Ok, maybe not entirely true cos I’m terrified of needles too, but it’s much more manageable now after countless times of being poked during my 5 weeks stay in hospital.
