Surgery went well. I had two afib episodes so my stay was 4 or 5 days. I went back to work after 6 weeks.
I stayed in heart rehab until insurance ran out. I enjoyed the attention while I got back in my rhythm.
I experienced pumphead for the first 6 months. It has deminished quite a bit in months 7 and 8. That entire memory lapse issue was a surprise, even though I had been titled it might occur.
I walk regularly and am doing great. None of the pre op dizziness or shortness of breath.
Dr Kerendi was great. Literally saved my life.
Thanks to this group for the thoughts and providing a private method that allows sharing. I am a private person, so kept the number of folks who knew of my illness to a minimum. I would change that if I did it again. People generally want to help and you should let them.
Thanks
