I look back at my surgery and how those first few steps turned into a few minute walks around the hospital. And realize I came a long way to my recovery. 🙂 Now I go to the gym and and eating healthier than I did before surgery.I still think about... Read more.
Great update Teddy! Keep it up, as you sound like you are doing all the right things in your recovery. You should be proud of your choices and your strength in your recovery.
Teddy, Great to hear about the wonderful progress you've made since December! I really love hearing about you in the gym and eating well. For me, heart surgery was somewhat of a "reset button" with regards to my health. I was always pretty healthy but since my operation I've really... Read more.

Hi, Been a while since I last posted. It's been busy these last few months. Been doing cardiac rehab and today I graduated from the program. I got to thinking I came a long ways since I had surgery. I am so proud of myself. 😊❤️
And you should be proud! You got through a major surgery, completed rehab, and have continued on with your life! You can do hard things and persevere…Congratulations indeed!
Great post Teddy. You are a heart warrior and should be proud of all you've been through and accomplished.
Congratulations on graduating rehab. It's a big milestone.
Congratulations! I just joined and you were the first post I read….I lived in Grand Junction for about 3 years. Miss those Mountain View's! Be proud of yourself!

Hi, Hope everyone is having a wonderful January. This month I am starting cardiac rehabilitation. I am excited to start and gain my mobility back. I was curious if any one had any ideas of what I should bring for my first day? Thank you❤️
While some people get a ton out of rehab, realizing that every day of the process in months 2-3-4-5 is about recovery - is key. Self paced walks of increasing duration and speed are king or queen to recovery and you can do that every day.
Rehab is great and will boost your confidence with exercising as they monitor it. I didn't need to bring anything unless it is your insurance etc. just wear comfortable clothes.
