Got a good question. How long did you stay on oxygen after heart surgery? I am 7 months after heart surgery and I am still on oxygen. I'm guessing I need more time for my lungs to get stronger. The cardiologist just told me to keep going with the oxygen.

Leaving the hospital on oxygen sometimes happens but it isn’t the typical experience. I had some plural effusion (water on the lungs) I had to deal with after surgery but didn’t need oxygen. I have a question for those who do yoga. After heart surgery when did you get back in to yoga practice?

I think i started back in 3-4 months, but I started with easier classes.

I look back at my surgery and how those first few steps turned into a few minute walks around the hospital. And realize I came a long way to my recovery. 🙂 Now I go to the gym and and eating healthier than I did before surgery.I still think about... Read more.
