Hi all, I'm doing very well 4 days post surgery but still in the hospital because my chest drainage has not stopped. I have almost no pain and I walk over a mile a day around the hospital as fast as one can walk in skid proof sox.

Welcome to recovery Patty! Stay positive and before you know it the drainage tubes will be out and you will be on your way home. Take it one day at a time and go easy on yourself. God bless you and may your recovery be uneventful 🙏

Hello all, I am 3 days post-op and feeling relatively well. He replaced my valve with the Edwards Inspiris and also replaced the ascending aorta which was weakening. I have been walking 500 feet 3 times a day and plan to increase next go. I still have my chest tube... Read more.
