Hello friends! Been awhile. Everything has been going great until about 3 months ago. I had BAV in June of 2017. Had an echo and ct scan in October. Found a 4 cm ascending aortic aneurysm. Follow up ct last week, results tomorrow. Is it u unusual to have an... Read more.
Unfortunately it does happen. Sometimes the aneurysm develops early,and sometimes later. I was told that BAV maybe associated with a collagen defect that can promote Aneurysm formation. Hopefully your aneurysm won't enlarge any more .

Had my INR checked on Thursday, it was 1.0 😳, I have an artificial valve INR is suppose to be 3 to 3.5. They have me taking the lovenox shots and increased my warfarin. I have not changed anything and I don't eat greens, anyone else have this happen. Needless... Read more.
I just started INR testing a few weeks ago and had one day when it was 1.4. Freaked my out too and I immediately took 6mg of warfarin. Time to get a self-monitoring kit. From what I've been told it's a must for convenience and knowing you are in range.... Read more.
Yes you are right, in the works hope to have soon. I am 2 years post AVR and this is the first time for me to be so out of range
Thank you all. My scar is hardly visible, you have to look really close to see it. So thankful to be able to do everything I did prior to the valve going bad, just need to do it 😊
