Your AR and bicuspid valve should be monitored at least yearly. Your cardiologist will let you know when to get an opinion from a surgeon. It could be years from now if things do not progress.

I'm sorry you need surgery but I had the same surgery over 7 years ago and I am doing great now. try not to be scared. find a hospital and surgeon with experience. It will be worth the effort. I hope you can translate this message.
