New to this site but reading with great interest. I have been diagnosed with arterial stenosis and I have two artery blockages which need to be repaired at the same time as my valve replacement. I would like to have these done with a minimal invasive procedure. Anyone have this same experience or have any information or recommendations?

Michelle Vecchione Welcome Norm!! I did not have a similiar experience as you, as I am 10 days Post Op from invasive OHS from a Mechanical Mitral Valve Replacement. BUT i will say although peoples stories on here may differ some, we all share A common bond at the core, and I have learned something from each and every member on here and I have also found this Site truely was a LIFE SAVER through my entire journey. I wish you all the best, and hope you get the feedback your looking for!😉

Betty Atwater I, too, have learned so much from others who have posted on this site. When I knew I’d need surgery to repair my mitral and tricuspid valves and have a MAZE procedure for A-fib, I thought it would be wonderful if I could have a minimally invasive procedure. However, after carefully selecting the hospital and surgeon I wanted for my surgery, I had to leave it in the hands of the surgeon to recommend the best type of surgery. He said “we need to open you up” so the minimally invasive procedure went out the window. I’m OK with that. So I think you’ll find it best to let your surgeon decide what procedure is best for your particular case.

Gerald Poulton Hi Norm, 13 weeks post op and doing great. I had a bicuspid aortic valve with aortic atery aneurism. Needless to say stenosis is a part of that. I was fortunate in that I did not have any blockages but required OHS with a full Sternotomy. Do you have the aneurism in you aortic valve ? As others have said, this is a great place to come to gain support and information. Welcome 🤝
