Anyone else on this site doing the TAVR valve in their 40s? I am meeting with a TAVR team tomorrow, and scared out of my mind.

I just had it, but I'm 70. It is a fairly easy process and you recover very quickly. I'd be interesting in knowing if they approve you for TAVR. I'm surprised that insurance would cover it at your age, but TAVR in TAVR is certainly something they can do. The... Read more.

Hi Michelle, good luck with your meeting and your eventual procedure. I am very interested to hear the results. I am in my 40s and will eventually need a replacement. I am hoping TAVR is far enough along to be an option.
