I finally had my Mitraclip procedure on Friday 1/30/26. It went smoothly, and they were able to fix my Mitral prolapse and reduce my severe Mitral regurgitation to "trace/mild" regurgitation. Has anybody had the Mitraclip surgery for severe mitral regurgitation? What was your experience after the procedure? I'm really hoping that things improve because I can't do much at all anymore without feeling very fatigued. It is definitely affecting my quality of life.
Jyll - Wow! You have certainly been through a lot! You look pretty young and there's a lot of life ahead! If MitraClip is your only option then go for it! You'll be in good company!

Waiting is absolutely the hardest part. Well, until recovery, but that's almost better because you can actually do something to affect your health and, moreover, the surgery is in your rearview. Hang in there; this will pass!
