I finally had my Mitraclip procedure on Friday 1/30/26. It went smoothly, and they were able to fix my Mitral prolapse and reduce my severe Mitral regurgitation to “trace/mild” regurgitation. I just couldn’t believe how much better I felt the SAME day! They ended up using 2 Mitraclips. I stayed 2 nights at Bluhm Cardiovascular Hospital and was released this afternoon. I am now on the road to recovery, and have truly been given another lease on life!!!

Has anybody had the Mitraclip surgery for severe mitral regurgitation? What was your experience after the procedure? I’m really hoping that things improve because I can’t do much at all anymore without feeling very fatigued. It is definitely affecting my quality of life.
