Justin, be prepared for emotions to intensify each day...It took me by surprise, I did not have symptoms, and heading into open heart surgery turned very emotional. The anesthesia doctor ended up giving me something to calm me as soon as we were through the OR doors.

Yes, I just started this week! 3 days in. It helped I was already walking 1-2 miles per day. Chest still sore to cough, etc. But I feel like a million dollars since right before surgery. 😇

Yeah I was already somewhat emotional and now, it's hard to hold back. LOL

That has got to make you feel good despite soreness if you can tell a big difference from before surgery. Rehab made me feel safer when I wanted to push myself, knowing I was being monitored. Plus it was nice to meet people in similar situation post surgery. Tears would... Read more.
