I had TAVR by Dr. James McCabe and his outstanding team at UW on 10/31. Could not have asked for better care. I saw my regular cardiologist 2 weeks later and was able to go back to my gym under his instructions since cardiac rehab here would be a 3 month wait. I figured that by that time if I hadn't started some exercise I'd feel like a real slug! My only problems were that I did not expect the hematoma that developed at the right entry point which took about three weeks to totally resolve. And I didn't expect to be so tired. But now, coming on 3 months post surgery, I'm feeling almost normal and thankful every day for all the preparation I received from Adam's book and the comments and encouragement from all the others who went before me. Thanks to all of you.
