Hi all. Just got back from a appointment with the Cardiologist. He told me that my aortic stenosis has worsened which is why I'm feeling chest tightness. I've also experienced a couple of episodes in the last week which felt like I was going to pass out. I couldn't decide if it was stress and anxiety given the current situation we are all in or if I was having issues with my heart. He recommends I start researching doctors and recommends I look for one who also does repairs instead of replacements in case that is an option. He is on the fence as far as when to do have it done and is hopeful that we can get through this pandemic before having to go in for surgery. Anyway, I go back in two weeks to see how things are. I'm 63, still active, and love life - especially my ew grandson. I found out two years ago that I have a bicuspid heart valve - heart murmur then sent to cardiology for tests. It has progressed from Moderate to Moderate Severe. I have been hanging on on this website for awhile now and finally feel the time is right to post. Thank you and stay safe!
