Hello All. I am 28 year old. Last year I was diagnosed with Bicuspid Aortic Valve with severe regurgitation and my left ventricle is dilated. I don’t have major symptoms today. I have pushed the surgery for some personal reasons, but now I am planning to schedule for later this year. The recommended action is to do valve repair and as plan b is the Ross Procedure. Since I am very young, I wonder if someone has been in a similar situation in the past (young patient), how the lifestyle has improved and how probable is that I will need a future procedure.
