My son is 28 yrs old. had a repair at age. 5, then aortic valve replacement at 27. there are people here in this community that are more knowledgeable than i, but i would say each person is different. lifestyle: symptoms should go away. future procedures: i think this question is best with your surgeon of cardiologist. probably, yes. but know that new ways, new technology, new options are always being developed. by the time you might need something, who knows what choices you’ll have. think about this:TAVR was invented when you were about 10. minimally invasive methods and robotic surgery - you were 15 or so. You got this! ask your doctors what life plan they have for you. they should be able to map it out for you.
