I am doing pretty well with cardiac rehab, but still have some dizzy spells and shortness of breath if I go for an all out effort. In cardiac rehab, we do moderate effort exercise, but if I am out on my own (say on my bike) and I go real... Read more.
My mitral and aortic valve was replaced 7 months ago. I still have dizzy spells with exertion. But they get less severe and less often. Would still mention it to your doc.

Thanks Bobbi and Steven. I appreciate your responses. I am just hoping I will get back to my level of fitness pre-surgery. Thanks again.

Thanks Steven and Dan. I appreciate the responses
Hi Dan Edle. Can u take the metoprolol at night? That's what I do.

Ruth, that's why why doc upped to 50mg. Now my hr is 87 at rest.
