Yumiko Ishida Congratulations on being warfarin free! I am counting down to the day I can stop warfarin (14!) and have not heard about a monitor. I was told to continue with aspirin. If you think you are having afib you should stay on warfarin and get checked out. Stopping warfarin does not increase likelihood of afib, it just reduces the likelihood of a clot IF you are in afib.
