About Me

Mitral valve repair from November 2021 was failing and replacement was recommended by my local Colorado team. I did some research (YAY heartvalvesurgery.org!) and sought a second opinion. We traveled to Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC and Dr. Adams' team re-repaired the mitral valve, repaired the tricuspid valve and "finessed" the chordae. They proclaimed an excellent surgical outcome!
