No more Wafrin, baby aspirin is it. Dr. said I am doing OK and hopefully the MAZE works. He stated that it holds 70 -80 % in cases like mine.
That and Dr. Adams Mitral and Tricuspid repair will do the trick. To all those who are starting out , there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Went to the pool again ,three days in a row, dog paddle , jog , and a half assed back stroke make mr feel like a rubber duck. Saturday is two months. Come home and conk out for a hour.Yesterday I slept through my daughters softball game.
Dr. Adams at Mt Sinai did my repair. So far so good. I am doing my own cardiac rehab
by slowly getting into yard work . I'll visit the
pool tomorrow. No crawl will work my legs
and dod paddle.
I think my swim work outs started last October helped with my recovery. Also dropping 30+ pounds to a svelte 270 has been a plus. Hope to lose more.
I'd encourage getting into better shape prior to surgery if you can.
So far I think I 've been fortunate especially after viewing my before and after mitral pictures.
